Was it just a bad example or does Shia LaBeouf have something against his childhood competitor Frankie Muniz? Either way, Frankie is firing back!
Shia gave an interview over the radio on The Bert Show where he happened to mention Frankie's name. When the Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star was told his last six films have opened at number one in the box office, Shia replied (via Celebuzz) “You could have put Frankie Muniz into any the movies I've been in and those movies would have still been No. 1.”
Really, Shia almost seems to be putting himself down by saying the movies themselves were so good that his acting didn't really contribute to their success. However, he seems to have put down Frankie at the same time...and then did it again!
Bert asked Shia if he was "prepared for Frankie Muniz to come up to you at a party and say, ‘Bro, why am I one of your examples?’"
“I don't go to many parties and I don't really hang out in Frank Muniz–type zones,” Shia replied.
Well, Frankie didn't keep quiet on the matter and went straight to hi Twitter to send a message that was clearly meant for Shia.
Frankie may have the last word for right now, but we wonder who has the last laugh?
