Stacy London Reveals Battle With Eating Disorders in New Book, 'The Truth About Style'

Katie Couric isn't the only celeb to come right out and indicate she battled an eating disorder in her early adult life.

What Not To Wear host Stacy London has revealed a shocker of her own this week. The 43 year-old host admitted to battling anorexia in her early 20s and plummeting down to a lightweight at 90 pounds.
According to People, she explained, "I felt like I'd never had a serious boyfriend and I really wanted to be attractive."

Well, after being hospitalized, Stacy started to eat again and unfortunately, eat she did! She dove into binge eating and within one year, ballooned to 180 pounds. Stacy's new book, The Truth About Style, outlines her emotional and physical struggles with her own body with the hope to help others dealing with their own body image issues.

"When you can talk about something and shine light on it, you're obliterating shame. And that to me was always the really hard part – to feel so filled with shame and having no recourse to thinking it could get better."
Thankfully, she realizes her value in life "doesn't simply come from being thin. Instead, she says "it comes from me and solely from me." Her new book will be released next Tuesday.
