Stars Take Over the 2010 Tony Nominations

The 2010 Tony nominations were announced Tuesday by stars Lea Michele and Jeff Daniels to the stars who earned themselves a nominee this year — and there were many!

Jude Law, Liev Schreiber and Denzel Washington were all nominated for leading actor in a play. While Kelsey Grammar and Sean Hayes were nominated for leading actor in a musical.
Catherine Zeta Jones was nominated for leading actress in a musical, Angela Lansbury for featured actress in a musical and Scarlett Johansson for featured actress in play.

Lea, who was wearing a black dress and gorgeous emerald earrings, could help but smile when American Idiot was nominated for best musical. Her Spring Awakening co-star John Gallagher Jr. stars in the show and the musical is directed by her former Spring Awakening director!
