Both Teresa and Joe remained silent during the five-minute court proceeding held in Newark, NJ, allowing their lawyers to do the talking. A trial date has been set for October 8 by U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, with a pre-trial hearing on October 3.
Teresa's attorney Henry Klingerman said, "We hope that she's vindicated and spends no time in jail, but it's a federal case and there's always a risk of jail."
