Premiere week continues with the return of some huge shows and the debut of some others on TV's Thursday night lineup. Here's what you need to watch tonight:

PHOTOS: Teresa and Joe Giudice Arrive in Court For Their Sentencing

The Vampire Diaries. 8pm on The CW. Elena begins her Sophomore year of college in the season 6 opener, and also finally figures out what Stefan has been up to.

Gracepoint. 9pm on FOX. Remember this hottie, whom we introduced to you yesterday? He stars in this new thriller, as two detectives team up to figure out who murdered a young boy in  small town.

Bad Judge. 9pm on NBC. Kate Walsh stars as a criminal court judge in LA in this new sitcom. It's not getting the best reviews as far as fall pilots go, but worth a shot, right?

A to Z. 9:30pm on NBC. This new sitcom, meanwhile, is getting rave reviews from critics. It follows Andrew and Zelda's relationship from start to—spoiler alert—finish, and the pilot shows us how the couple first meets. Katey Sagal of Sons of Anarchy narrates  ala Bob Saget on HIMYM.

Breaking Amish. 10pm on TLC. The Amish crew trades in their hostel in Brooklyn for the bright lights of Times Square. We're scared for them.
