A few weeks ago Kate Middleton roughed it in the woods with a group of school-aged kids volunteering for Widehorizons Margaret McMillan House, will she sleep on the streets for charity next?
This morning The Mirror reported that The Duchess was planning to join the Centerpoint Organization and participate in their yearly Sleep Out campaign. Apparently, she bonded with the organaization's ambassador, Lisa Maxwell, and told her at a cocktail party that she'd join her at the next one. Prince William participated in 2009, so she was keen on the idea.
Well, perhaps Kate had one too many drinks that night because her rep denies any princess street sleeping in the forseeable future.
"This isn't correct," her rep told E1 Online. "There are no plans for the Duchess to sleep out for Centrepoint. I'm afraid the story is inaccurate."
Bummer — we were sort of looking forward to seeing her designer sleeping bag.
