On the Oscars red carpet, Lincoln co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sally Field stopped by to chat with Ryan Seacrest about their co-star Daniel Day-Lewis.

Sally revealed he would send her hand-written notes and that she prefers that to the phone. She said "I hate talking on the phone. If youre thinking of calling me, DON'T. I'd rather have a text." Joseph also got a note from him in Lincoln's handwriting!

With some prodding from Ryan, Joseph revealed he is in the opening number of the show tonight! He said "I dont want to reveal too much but its myself and Daniel Radcliffe and Seth MacFarlane. We're the entertainment." Well, we're intrigued!
