Alec Baldwin was in attendance at a private memorial for late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Friday night.
As OK! previously reported the 42-year-old filmmaker was shot and killed in a tragic on-set accident that also left director Joel Souza injured when Baldwin was reportedly handed a "hot gun" to use while shooting the upcoming Western flick, but he was not informed it was an actual loaded weapon.
The 63-year-old 30 Rock alum took to social media on Friday, October 22, to break his silence on the heartbreaking incident.
"There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother, and deeply admired colleague of ours," the actor wrote via Instagram. "I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family."
According to Showbiz 411, the It's Complicated star was present at the intimate service alongside Hutchins' grieving husband and young son, as well as several grief counselors.
A public memorial will be held in Santa Fe on Saturday night, October 23. Local 600 released a statement voicing their condolences and sharing the details for the upcoming service.
"Yesterday's tragic death of Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust, is in all of our hearts today. Our close-knit film and television community is grieving, and we know that this has affected many of us," the statement began. "Let's all take a moment and gather together to honor Halyna and her accomplishments and grieve together as one."
The statement went on to requested attendees bring their own candle for a candelight vigil for the fallen filmmaker, and included a heartfelt message to cast, crew, and Hutchins' family members.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Halyna Hutchins' loved ones, and the entire cast and crew of Rust, today and always."
