Alex Rodriguez is loving life as a bachelor.
Though the New York Yankees icon was spotted with a woman who appeared to be Dallas-based fitness competitor Kathryne “Kat” Padgett at two professional sporting events over the weekend, an insider insisted Rodriguez is "single" and just "enjoying life."
"It’s not like she’s his girlfriend. They went to Green Bay and then to Minnesota. She’s not his girlfriend," the source maintained to Page Six of the pair's alleged romance. "He is a single dude."
Rodriguez caused a few eyebrows to raise on Saturday, January 22, when he was spotted freezing in the stands of Lambeau Field with the then-mystery woman by his side to watch the Packers game against the San Francisco 49ers. The two were joined by Rodriguez's nephew Nick Silva.
As for why Jennifer Lopez's ex-fiancé and his date chose to sit outside rather than in a heated box, another source told the outlet: "He wanted to experience Lambeau Field in the stands. He signed autographs and took pictures the entire game." The pair sported Packers hats and had their jackets zipped up as they watched Aaron Rodgers' devastating loss.
Rodriguez and Padgett were first spotted at the playoffs game during a Fox broadcast, where they stood on the 50-yard line, according to the outlet. The duo topped off their weekend at Minneapolis’ Target Center on Sunday, January 23, to watch the Timberwolves take on the Brooklyn Nets. The 46-year-old co-owns the Minnesota NBA team.
Padgett showed her support for the Timberwolves by taking to her Instagram Story to pose by the court in black leggings, a black leather jacket and the team's scarf, it was reported.
Meanwhile, A.Rod also posted snaps and videos from the weekend — but he kept Padgett off of his social media page. Apart from posting a video of himself and Silva cheering on the Packers at the game in the freezing cold, Rodriguez posted pics of himself at the NBA game. He also shared a video of himself making snow angels by a private jet on the tarmac.
"Fired up about the timberwolves win tonight!!!" the handsome hunk captioned the video of himself at the airport.
This wasn't the first time the athlete was spotted with a new woman on his arm since he and the Latin pop star called it quits last April. Rodriguez was seen last summer vacationing on a yacht in St. Tropez with several bikini-clad ladies.
