Former 'American Pickers' Star Frank Fritz Owes A Past Due Amount In Taxes On His Iowa Farmhouse Following His Exit From The Show
American Pickers star Frank Fritz reportedly missed tax payments on his Iowa properties.
According to the Scott County Treasurer’s Office via The Sun — the antique collector, 58, owes $1,752 (interest included) that was due on September 1, 2021 on his home. The reality star also owes $843 in taxes on the adjoining property that he also owns that was due on the same day.
Fritz owns a $155,000 residence — which the star renovated himself — in his native Iowa. The house boasts 1,660 square-feet along with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
According to the outlet, Fritz owes an additional amount of $1,701 on the property that will be due on March 1, 2022. For the second property, he owes $818 (also due in March).
The How to Pick Vintage Motorcycles author purchased the house on May 14, 2010 for $130,000. He purchased the additional property in 2013 for $25,000.

This revelation comes after Fritz was let go from the hit History Channel show after co-star Mike Wolfe said that he was battling a drug addiction. “Frank is just going through a lot personally with addictions,” his former friend told The Sun. “It's unfortunate that he's made decisions that have him the way he is."
Wolfe — who created American Pickers — released a statement via Instagram on Wednesday, July 21, announcing Fritz's departure. “The journey that Frank, Dani and I started back in 2009, like all of life, has come with its highs and lows, blessings and challenges, but it has also been the most rewarding.”
"I will miss Frank, just like all of you, and I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey," Wolfe concluded his statement.
The Davenport native has been a staple on the series since it began in 2010. Fritz's last episode aired in March of 2020 — initially citing a back injury as the reason for his absence.
