A-list actress Angelina Jolie adores her six kids. But in a recent interview, the Oscar winner, 45, admitted that parenthood isn’t as easy as she thought it would be.
“I feel like I’m lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom,” confessed Jolie — who shares Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12, with ex Brad Pitt, 57.

“Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, traveling in the middle of the jungle somewhere,” she continued. “I’m managing through it because the children are quite resilient, and they’re helping me, but I’m not good at it at all!”
According to an OK! source, raising kids in lockdown — coupled with her and Pitt's ongoing custody battle — has only made life more difficult for Jolie. “There are times when she finds it tough to just get through the day,” the source tells OK!, adding that the actress has let friends know she’s “really struggling.”

Jolie “doesn’t have a huge team to depend on and likes to do most of it herself,” adds the source. “But her schedule is so packed with meetings, home-schooling supervision and chores — it leaves her incredibly stretched.”
Thankfully, things may soon get a little bit easier, as the actress seemed to imply that her and Pitt's co-parenting arrangement has gradually improved.
“The past few years have been pretty hard,” Jolie shared with British Vogue. “I’ve been focusing on healing our family. It’s slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body.” And she’s got her fingers crossed it’ll only get better.
