Angelina Jolie & The Weeknd Snapped At Same Private Event As Romance Rumors Heat Up
Less than two weeks since unlikely duo Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd set tongues wagging of a possible romance after the duo dined at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi, they were spotted at the same place over the weekend.
The pair were snapped at Mustafa the Poet’s private concert. Celeb gossip Instagram handle DeauxMoi posted photos of the duo at the event. Spies claimed Jolie and The Weeknd were together. A fan site on Twitter also posted snaps of the superstars at the event.
As OK! previously spilled, the Salt actress and the singer were photographed leaving Giorgio Baldi on Wednesday, June 30. Although the pair exited the restaurant separately, restaurant snoops claimed they spent hours together inside.
A source close to The Weeknd — real name Abel Tesfaye — dished that “they’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]. He’s definitely focused on getting [in]to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”
The Weeknd is set to co-write and star in the new HBO Max series The Idol. He also appeared alongside Adam Sandler in Netflix’s Uncut Gems.
Reports of the rumored fling comes on the heels of Jolie being snapped leaving her ex-husband Johnny Miller’s Manhattan apartment late last month. The former flames met on the set of Hackers in 1995 and married a year later, only to divorce in 1999.
The Weeknd has been previously linked to supermodel Bella Hadid and pop superstar Selena Gomez.
As OK! previously reported, Jolie alleged in court documents that three of the former couple's children wanted to testify against their dad — who was recently awarded joint custody — but weren’t allowed to.
