Anthony Anderson's Wife Alvina Stewart Files For Divorce After 22-Year Marriage: Report
Anthony Anderson and his wife, Alvina Stewart, are throwing in the towel on their 22-year marriage.
The Black-ish actor, 51, and his college sweetheart, 49 — whom he met in 1989 while attending Howard University in Washington D.C. — are reportedly over, with Stewart officially filing for divorce on Friday, March 28.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Stewart requested spousal support from her estranged spouse, as well as coverage for attorneys fees for the divorce.

Stewart cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, per the court docs, and requested that property acquired during the marriage be treated as "community" property to be split between the parties.
"All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by [Alvina] prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation, the exact nature and extent of which are unknown," the papers reportedly read.

The two are no strangers to splitting up, as the couple briefly separated from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, Stewart filed for divorce but later dismissed the case in 2017.
Despite his marriage being over, the actor appeared to be in great spirits while attending a pre-Oscars event in Beverly Hills on Friday, March 25, for the eBay x GBK Luxury Lounge. In pictures obtained by Radar, Anderson was seen smiling from ear-to-ear as he rocked a black striped jacket along with a pair of matching pants to pick up some free swag.
According to the outlet, the To Tell The Truth star, who is reportedly worth $25 million, picked up a $10,000 trip to Turks and Caicos, an $8,600 one to Fiji, and a getaway to the Dominican Republic — but it appears he will be without his plus one.
