Axl Rose got 'really bad' TMJ after procedure as he delivered a 3-hour long Guns N' Roses performance.

A three-hour Guns N' Roses performance left Axl Rose dealing with jaw pain.
Per the Asbury Park Press, he told an audience on Wednesday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., "I had really crazy TMJ. When I’m singing, it’s kind of like somebody’s in my ear, like Bugs Bunny is eating in my ear, a carrot and celery and s---’s popping around."

Rose continued, "I had to do a tube. I had that done a couple of days ago. So now, this [left side] side of my mouth is still f------ numb. It gets interesting. It’s challenging."
Temporomandibular joint disorder is a condition that causes pain and stiffness in the jaw joint and the muscles that control jaw movement due to clenching or grinding the teeth or other factors, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Despite the condition, Rose, 64, managed to play for three hours straight.
Axl Rose Previously Performed Through Health Issues Too
Axl Rose performed even through his sickness back in November 2018 as well.
In November 2018, during a show in Abu Dhabi, the incredibly dedicated singer confessed that he had been wrestling with some germs during the performance.
"They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ‘cause I got sick today," he said from the stage, as captured by a concertgoer, per Entertainment Weekly.
Still, he refused to cancel the band's scheduled concert and fought through his sickness to perform for as long as he could.

Axl Rose's November 2018 concert was cut short due to his health as well, with the band performing 17 songs as compared to their typical 28-song set.
"I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours. So, instead of canceling, I’m gonna do the best show we can do for you," he added.
However, at that time, the concert was ultimately cut short when Rose couldn't go on any longer. They performed around 17 songs, slightly shorter than their typical 28-song set.
Fellow Guns N' Roses members confirmed Axl Rose's health condition and how he pushed through despite it.
His fellow bandmates confirmed his condition.
Guitarist Slash wrote in a tweet after the show, "Abu Dhabi, you guys were f---ing great tonight! Axl was severely ill. But you all were hugely supportive. Thanks for that. We'll see again next time! Cheers!"
Bassist Duff McKagan also voiced similar thoughts, tweeting, "Thank you Abu Dhabi! @axlrose pulled a d--- miracle...the man was beyond ill, and pulled off something I've never seen in my 40 years of playing. You all pulled him thru. Til next time!"
Guns N' Roses is Currently Touring in North America
Guns N' Roses scheduled a string of shows in North America, including across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore through the end of the year.

Per their official website, remaining cities for the band to perform include St. Louis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Edmonton, Vancouver, San Diego, Pasadena, Arlington, Ridgedale, San Antonio, and Atlanta.
