Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez 'Bumped Into' Jennifer Garner While Trick-Or-Treating With Kids In The Same Community: Report

It was one spooky Halloween for Ben Affleck after his worlds collided while celebrating the holiday with his son.

Affleck and girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were reportedly trick-or-treating with her son, Max, and his son, Samuel, in a private and gated Malibu community when they ran into the handsome hunk's ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Affleck and Garner share Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, while the Latin pop star shares 13-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

TMZ obtained photos of both parties at what appeared to have been a private Halloween event in the community. Though there aren't snaps of the coparents and "On The Floor" crooner together, the photo agency who obtained the photos claimed the rekindled Hollywood couple and 13 Going on 30 star "bumped into" each other.

It's safe to assume the run-in was anything but awkward, as OK! previously learned the Batman actor and Garner, both 49, have a positive co-parenting relationship.

In fact, it seems the Alias star is happy for her baby daddy's new relationship, with an insider exclusively telling OK!: "Jen doesn’t have a shred of regret over things not working out with Ben, and now that he’s fully moved on too, their relationship is in a really great place."

Meanwhile, Garner is dating on-again, off-again boyfriend John Miller, after they were first linked in 2018. Despite taking a brief break last August, the couple reunited in May, with an OK! insider spilling: "Marriage is definitely in the cards."

It's a good thing all the parents seem to be getting along, as Affleck and Lopez appear to be stronger than ever. OK! reported the Good Will Hunting star was seen looking at engagement rings in August, around the same time it was reported that the lovebirds were looking at houses together.

The duo hasn’t been trying to hide their romance ever since they rekindled things in April, shortly after Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called it quits. (Affleck and Lopez first met in 2002 while filming Gigli and got engaged before calling it quits in 2004.)

According to the mother-of-two's former publicist, the couple is in it for the long haul, with Rob Shuter noting Lopez wouldn't be flaunting their relationship if she didn't think it would last.

"Jennifer would not be letting us see them walk together in the park or on the red carpet if she didn’t see a future for them," Shuter said. "They could have easily met quietly, dated on the side and had some fun together. The world would have never known about it. But the fact that they’re allowing us to see this tells me it’s serious."
