The perfect day for a matinée! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were seen cozying up to each other while attending an afternoon movie with their children over the weekend.
The lovebirds — who rekindled their old romance earlier this year — were photographed taking their kiddos to an afternoon movie showing at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif., on Saturday, December 4. The blended family reportedly saw Paul Thomas Anderson's new film Licorice Pizza.
Affleck, 49, and Lopez, 52, were joined by the Gone Girl actor's son Samuel, 9, and daughter Seraphina, 12, along with J.Lo's twins Max and Emme, 13 — who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
In addition to his younger two kids, Affleck also shares 16-year-old daughter Violet with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The on-again lovers appear to be working on blending their family as they head into the holiday season. Last month, a source spilled to OK! that Affleck plans to spend the holidays with both Jens for the sake of keeping their families together on Christmas.
"Christmas is all about the kids," the source explained. "Despite being polar opposites, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez have bonded over the children."
"It might sound strange to spend the holidays with your ex-husband's new girlfriend, but Jennifer [Garner] doesn't care what other people think," the insider insisted.
OK! previously reported the 13 Going on 30 actress found "common ground" with Lopez after spending time with their children together.
“Once it was clear that Ben and Lopez were serious about getting back together, Jennifer reached out," an insider said at the time. "When you have children with an ex and that person starts dating again, all three of you are linked together like it or not. Jennifer was determined to make sure that she had a relationship with J. Lo, if for nothing else, so that things were not awkward for her kids."
Meanwhile, Christmas won't be the first holiday Affleck and the Selena actress' kids spend together, as the kiddos trick-or-treated as one big happy family during Halloween.

In true Bennifer style, the PDA-loving pair arrived to the theater arm-in-arm.
Their youngsters trailed behind them as they headed in to see the flick — which has been facing backlash for fake Asian accents, per The Wrap.
The power couple rocked casual but chic looks, with Lopez wearing a festive cozy sweater she paired with jeans and chestnut work boots.
The Good Will Hunting star donned a trendy urban look, with him wearing a flannel button down layered over a t-shirt. He finished the ensemble off with a fresh black jacket.
Hipsters in the making! The kids all looked fashionable as they sported casual yet stylish outfits for the family outing.
The "On the Floor" songstress looked stunning as always while flaunting her gorgeous carmel-colored locks.
