Though Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were noticeably absent from this year's Met Gala, their most recent outing proved there's no trouble in paradise, as they were spotted holding hands while in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 4.
The twosome — who revealed last month that they were engaged for the second time — were dressed in a similar earth-toned palette as they headed to a studio.
The Argo director, 49, wore a pair of light gray pants and a beige sweater with blue sneakers, while the 52-year-old singer was clad in a white tee, gray pants, matching suspenders and a pair of white kicks.
They were also seen in the car together, with the dad-of-three behind the wheel.
The duo have been scouring the Hollywood area for the perfect house after they failed to secure a $50 million mansion in Bel-Air. They're also in the midst of planning their nuptials, which has been a source of frustration, as a source previously told OK!, "They have very different ideas about what kind of wedding they should have."
While Affleck "doesn’t want a major event," his bride reportedly has her heart set on a big, lavish affair.
"This time around, he’s pushing to be super-involved in the planning, which has become something of a headache for Jen," noted the source. "Word is, Ben’s behaving like a groomzilla!"

"He says Jen can still design the color scheme and choose the flower arrangements — and, of course, any dress she wants — but he’d like to have the final say in the food and music, including their first dance," the source added. "Jen isn’t used to being flexible and not running the show. But she’s learned from her mistakes too. She’s conceding this time so he can feel comfortable as they plan their future together."
One thing the Hustlers actress is pushing back on is her beau's appearance on their big day, as he's scaled back on his fitness routine over the past few months.
When the pair first reunited in 2020, Affleck would wake up early to hit the gym alongside J.Lo, as "he was a lot more conscious about looking like a guy who was worthy of dating Hollywood's biggest glamour gal," an insider told Star.
However, he now "barely exercises and lives off burgers and donuts," said the insider, which is something that doesn't sit well with Lopez.
"J.Lo has told him this is unacceptable," spilled the source. "She expects him to pick up the slack and wants him working out every day and eating right, no excuses."
