Ben Affleck doesn't need girlfriend Jennifer Lopez to help him run errands, despite rumors that the Latin pop star wears the pants in their relationship.
The handsome hunk was spotted flying solo over the weekend in L.A., which marked one of the few times Affleck was seen out and about without his leading lady or members of their blended family. As OK! reported, the 49-year-old was recently seen shopping with his daughters, Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 12 — whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner — and J.Lo's twins, Max and Emme, 13, ahead of the holidays.
And while it's clear Bennifer 2.0 has been going strong ever since the former flames rekindled things in April following Lopez's split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez, it seems Affleck doesn't appreciate rumors regarding who has more control in their relationship.
According to an insider, the Argo star will have none of people insinuating he's being controlled or emasculated by the actress, with the source candidly saying: "That would be his idea of hell."
"He didn't come into this relationship with any intention of being like Alex Rodriguez and letting Jennifer call the shots in decisions they make as couple," the insider added of A.Rod, who began dating Lopez in 2017.
Aside from the rumors keeping Affleck on edge, OK! exclusively learned those closest to the Good Will Hunting star are worried he's crumbling under pressure amid his Hollywood romance with Lopez and attempt to revive his career.
"He’s not acting right in the head," a source confided to OK! "He’s making a lot of bad decisions."
Apart from tirelessly working to make sure he doesn't "mess things up," with Lopez after their second chance at love, the insider explained he's "pushing himself way too hard" to secure a career resurgence by taking on back-to-back projects after his several box office flops. The actor is "putting impossible demands on himself," the insider candidly pointed out.

What's more, Affleck is also reportedly in the midst of planning an over-the-top wedding, despite Lopez's apparent wishes for something more intimate. "He's very much of the opinion that they should go all out," an insider said of Affleck's plan for their nuptials. "He's the driving force here. He wants their wedding to be an elaborate statement of their love story."
Affleck and Lopez have not yet confirmed their engagement, but the power couple hasn't been shy about flaunting their love ever since going Instagram official over the summer. The Justice League star first proposed to his Gigli costar in 2002 shortly after they began dating. The two called off their engagement in 2003, with them breaking up for good months later.
