Ben Affleck Spends Quality Time With Just The Kids On His 49th Birthday, Neither Jen In Sight
Ben Affleck has been spending as much time as possible with current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez between house hunting and wining and dining the superstar, but on the afternoon of the Justice League actor's 49th birthday, it was all about quality time with the kids.
The Gone Girl star was spotted on Sunday, August 15 with his children Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, all three of whom he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Their family was reportedly visiting friends in Los Angeles.
Though the "On The Floor" singer and her hunky Hollywood beau have been seen together on plenty of family outings before, it's possible that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star just wanted to spend some special quality time alone with the kids.
As for the absence of Garner — who recently rekindled her own romance with boyfriend John Miller after a temporary split — sources have told OK! that their relationship as co-parents is a truly positive one.

"Things have changed," the insider explained. "Jen doesn’t have a shred of regret over things not working out with Ben, and now that he’s fully moved on too, their relationship is in a really great place."
Meanwhile, things are heating up for the sizzling A-List couple, but they seem to be getting pretty serious too. Not only are the pair reportedly house hunting, having checked out neighborhoods in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Toluca Lake, but J.Lo deleted all traces of ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez from her social media.
Fans first noticed the surprising change on Saturday, August 14, when any snapshots featuring the former Yankee had been removed from the popstar's Instagram.
It was also confirmed by fans that the "Jenny From The Block" singer had unfollowed her former flame.
This comes weeks after the professional baseball player had mysteriously ended up in many of the same places as his megastar ex, including shopping at the same stores in the Hamptons, and even celebrating his birthday on a boat in the French Riviera around the same time that Lopez and Affleck were there.
