Bradley Cooper 'Worried' Baby Mama Irina Shayk Could Get 'Caught Up' In Kanye West's 'Controversies,' Source Spills
It’s on! After weeks of speculation about a brewing romance between Kanye West and Irina Shayk, the duo solidified their couple status on an intimate French getaway.
An OK! source reveals that the rapper, who’s in the midst of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, whisked Shayk, 35, from her home base in New York to the dreamy town of Provence, where they celebrated his 44th birthday in grand style.
“Irina was impressed by the planning Kanye put into the trip,” says the source, noting that they were seen strolling the grounds of a luxury 600-acre boutique hotel. “He wanted to go all out.”
The Grammy winner, who’s known for pursuing his crushes years after meeting them (ahem, Kim!), connected with Shayk on the 2010 set of his “Power” music video and cast her in a Yeezy fashion show two years later.

But their paths diverged, with West going on to marry Kardashian, and Shayk falling for Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares daughter Lea, 4. The source adds the actor is far from thrilled with Shayk’s new romance: “He’s worried she could get caught up in Kanye’s controversies or over-the-top publicity stunts.”
Though a separate source previously reported that Cooper would be "fully supportive" of Shayk's happiness, it seems that West is an exception to that rule. According to OK!'s insider, Cooper is “furious” that his baby mama seems to be getting involved with “someone who’s behavior is erratic, to say the least.”
Meanwhile, the rapper’s more than ready to make up for lost time. “He always said Irina was an extraordinary, classy lady,” dishes the source, noting that the unexpected pair have a lot in common. “They’re interested in fashion and music, plus Irina’s got a real thirst for travel and adventure,” explains the source. “They’ve been friendly for years, but this getaway really took things to the next level.”
