The search for the young man, who is a “person of interest” in the case of his missing girlfriend, began on Saturday but was called off on Monday as authorities claimed that they had “exhausted all avenues in searching of the grounds there.”
As OK! previously reported, on Sunday, September 19, a body was found at Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming that police believe to be the 22-year-old influencer.
An officer stated at a press conference that day, "Human remains discovered have been consistent with Gabby's description," before adding that the case is still active.
"Saddened and heartbroken to learn that Gabby has been found deceased. Our focus from the start, along with the FBI, and national partners, has been to bring her home," the North Port Police said in a tweet. "We will continue to work with the FBI in the search for more answers."
