After the couple's steamy sweet escape for the actor's birthday, Sam Asghari couldn't help but comically call out his soon-to-be wife, Britney Spears, for trying to make him put on the lbs while celebrating his 28th trip around the sun.
After the couple returned from their lavish vacation, which they jetted off to earlier this week, Asghari revealed the Princess of Pop had more in store for his birthday.
Showing off a chocolate birthday cake decorated with raspberries and strawberries at home, the fitness hunk told his 2.3 million Instagram followers late on Thursday, March 3: "Alright, so this is the 20th cake my girl has got me in the past two days."
"I know what she's up to. I'm not stupid. She's trying to make me fat," the birthday boy, who often shares photos and videos of his impressive gym routine, quipped via his Instagram Story.
While he may not be thrilled about putting on the extra pounds, it's safe to say their romantic getaway was definitely worth the extra hours in the gym.
Spears and Asghari have been teasing their intimate trip since heading to the sun-kissed location via a private jet, with Asghari nearly breaking the internet by sharing a steamy video of the "Toxic" songstress straddling him in the pool while making out as the actor's muscular back faced the camera.
Spears also shared some loved-up moments from their getaway, posting the soon-to-be newlyweds smiling together with the sunset behind them. As she wished her man a happy birthday on his special day, she gushed about the next chapter of their life together after Asghari got down on one knee in September 2021.
"Happy Birthday 🎊🎁 to my Fiancé … I love you so much ❤️ … I want a family with you … I want it all with you !!!!" the "Circus" singer captioned her post, with her handsome hunk lovingly replying in the comment section: "Millions of things to wish for ❤️ I only have one wish 😍."
Asghari shared the same photo of the two to his respective account while gushing over turning one year older. "Wow. 28 and counting. Most of you think I’m 49 but you’re wrong 😂 I already celebrate every single day for this opportunity called 'life'. The more mature I become the more I realize that I’m one SOB 😭 I cherish & Love everything I have with all I have. Thank you for all the overwhelming wishes 👍🏽 ," he wrote, before concluding: "The best Bday getaway with my queen 👸 ❤️."
It seems Asghari wasn't joking about how many cakes the blonde babe got for him, as they were even given a sweet treat on their private jet back home, which Spears dubbed as "the best cake so far."
"It tastes amazing. You want to try it," Asghari asks Spears in a video she recorded of the Can You Keep a Secret? star, as he holds frosting from the cake out to her before placing it on his nose.
Asghari and Spears have certainly been living on cloud nine ever since the pop diva's nearly 14-year conservatorship was terminated in November 2021.
