Britney Spears had a lot to say on Valentine's Day.
The Princess of Pop took to her Instagram Story to let her followers know she wasn't phased by her haters. Alongside a clip of Britney dancing in a neon green one-piece with black heels, she wrote: "8 seconds of me smiling with my purple hair today for the haters. My smile to yours !!!!! Happy Valentine's Day."
While it's not clear whether the 40-year-old was targeting one person directly, she made it clear she didn't have time for those trying to bring her down. Meanwhile, one person she definitely does not hate is Eminem. The "Toxic" singer gushed about the rapper's performance at the Super Bowl in another post.
Britney posted a clip of Eminem's performance on Instagram while reflecting on how he has impacted her life. The "Womanizer" singer said she was a big fan of the "Lose Yourself" hitmaker growing up. "In the first two seconds I saw him on stage last night I felt like I was 17 again !!!" she explained.
"It's honestly kinda scary how certain artists and music can do that ... we are so lucky to live in a world 🌎 where music can give us hope ... identity ... acceptance ...and love 💕," the 40-year-old added.
Britney also took a moment to gush over her fiancé, Sam Asghari. The happy couple announced their engagement in September 2021.

She shared a video on Instagram of her beau on a bike. "This man has been with me through it all !!!! I don’t know what I would do without him so I think I will keep him around a bit longer …. I mean he is pretty hot 🥵," the songstress captioned her post. "I love you @samasghari 👠👠👠👠👠💕💕💕💕 !!!!"
"Women are the most powerful humans on this 🌎," he wrote on Instagram. "fellas listen up: what they don’t teach you in school is that your ability to listen and agree with your woman 👩 even if you don’t agree is the 🔑 to a happy life 😎. What do they say?, Oh… Happy wife, happy life ♥️ Happy Valentine’s Day my lioness 👸."
It's not clear when Spears and Asghari plan to wed, as the couple has been mum about their wedding plans.
However, in November, Spears told her fans Donatella Versace was designing her wedding dress. An OK! insider previously revealed they also hope to tie the knot in Malibu sometime in the Spring.
"The more they talk about it, the more they want to make it a big event" with fireworks, an orchestra and great food, the source spilled, adding that they are also hoping to have a baby together.
