Britney Spears has a lot to celebrate this holiday season: Not only did a judge terminate her 13-year conservatorship, but she also rang in her 40th birthday with a romantic getaway to Mexico alongside fiancé Sam Asghari.
According to an insider, Spears has never felt more blessed. "She's finally got her life back," the insider tells OK!. "What makes it even more special is she has a wedding to plan — and a future to look forward to."
The "Toxic" songstress isn't wasting any time. The mom of two, who shares sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with ex Kevin Federline, aims to exchange vows with Asghari, 27, in Malibu this spring.

"The more they talk about it, the more they want to make it a big event," dishes the insider. "They'd love a fireworks display, an orchestra and great food."

And if all goes well, they'll have even more to celebrate in 2022. "Britney and Sam are eager to have a baby," shares the insider. "They're hoping to make a happy announcement before the end of the year. It would be a Christmas miracle!"
OK! previously reported the Grammy Award winner declared on Tuesday, November 16, she was contemplating having her first child with the hunky fitness trainer. "I'm thinking about having another baby!!! I wonder if this one is a girl…," she captioned a photo of a baby standing on its toes via Instagram. "She's on her toes reaching for something… that's for sure 🐣🙊💋💅🏼 !!!!"
It would be the first child for the hunky actor. Spears and Asghari announced their engagement in September after nearly four years of dating. The lovebirds first met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016.

The Can You Keep A Secret? star popped the question on September 12, five days after the pop icon’s dad filed a petition to end her 13-year-long conservatorship. He was later suspended as the conservator of her estate on September 29.
