Candace Owens Calls Out Kim Kardashian's Parenting, Sides With Kanye West In TikTok Debate
Team Ye!
Political commentator Candace Owens has taken sides in the ongoing feud between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The high profile exes — who share North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 — went head-to-head in a series of scathing social media posts on February 4, when the "Flashing Lights" rapper begged followers to tell him "what I should do about" the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum allowing North to make TikTok videos without his permission.
The mother-of-four quickly clapped back, calling him "obsessive" and accusing him of trying to "manipulate" the situation by calling her out publicly, rather than attempting to work things out privately as coparents.
Now, Owens has weighed in on the public spat. "Kim is wrong on this one," the conservative author wrote in a tweet on Friday. "The psychological effects of social media on young girls is real and documented."

She went on to explain she believed that it was the billionaire rapper who was "trying to protect his daughter" and suggested Kardashian was the one manipulating the situation by "spinning this as 'obsession' and 'control'."
Owens added, "There are other creative outlets for kids," in reference to the SKIMS founder's argument that she allows North to use the popular social media app "to express her creativity" because it "brings her happiness."
As OK! previously reported, West wasn't only upset about TikTok. He also slammed the mother of his children in a heated rant accusing her of kidnapping their daughter Chicago.
"America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address," he captioned a photo of Kardashian's previous social media slam, referring to a mix-up when the "Gold Digger" artist had to ask family members for the address to Chicago's 4th birthday.
"You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs," he argued, before proceeding to blame Kardashian's publicist. "Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way…"
