Things may have gotten a bit awkward inside the 2022 Met Gala. With so many stars gracing the museums' infamous steps on Monday, May 2, as did many former Hollywood couples.
From Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello to Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens, as well as Pete Davidson and his multiple ex girlfriends, it was definitely an uncomfortable night for some.

After making their Met Gala debut together mere months ago in September 2021, the "Señorita" singers called it quits in November of last year.
Mendes, 23 — dressed in Tommy Hilfiger — and Cabello, 25, who stunned in Prabal Gurung, were both in attendance last night but did not seem to run into each other, at least not on the red carpet.

The former longtime couple split in 2020 after nine years together, but time most likely didn't make the Elvis actor, 30, showing up with new girlfriend Kaia Gerber any less painful for the High School Musical alum, 33.

Although the model was on the arm of her new beau, Butler, her former boyfriend Jacob Elordi was mere steps away rocking a sequin two-piece suit. The pair split in November of 2021 after only one year of dating.
