Your secrets are never safe if you are a Hollywood star.
Between nosey fans and the prying paparazzi, it's nearly impossible for celebs to keep things under wraps. Particularly in the Internet age, news (or rumors) can catch like wildfire.
But even if they do manage to hide some information from the public, sometimes celebrities' biggest secrets are blown by someone in their own inner circle.
From moms ruining baby announcements to co-stars revealing engagements, check out a few of the famous faces who have had their friends and families spill the beans on them.
BABY ON BOARD
Ugh, Mom! Emma Roberts blocked her mother, Kelly Cunningham, on social media after she spilled that the Holidate star was pregnant. Without thinking, Cunningham engaged with fans speculating about her daughter's bump last June — two months before Roberts was ready to share the news. "She's an animal on Instagram," shared the 30-year-old, who welcomed son Rhodes with partner Garrett Hedlund in December. Now, Roberts jokes, her mom's enjoying the notoriety: "She's like, 'I got so many more followers!' "
OTHERWISE ENGAGED
They have to keep multiple storylines straight on This Is Us, but in 2017, Chris Sullivan (Toby) and Jon Huertas (Miguel) blew it in real life when they leaked that co-star Mandy Moore and boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith were headed down the aisle. "I was just in the studio with her boyfriend, well now-fiancé," Sullivan blurted at an event, while Huertas gushed, "Taylor is an amazing guy!" They learned their lesson after Moore, 36, got pregnant — you didn't hear a peep!

Former New Kid on the Block Jonathan Knight never denied his sexual orientation — but the 52-year-old wasn't exactly screaming it from the rooftops when fellow pop star Tiffany blabbed about him in 2011. Asked about being set up with boy banders in her heyday, the 49-year-old told Watch What Happens Live's Andy Cohen she dated the "shy" singer, adding, "He became gay later." Knight took it in stride, tweeting to his old pal, "Tiff, please don't lose any sleep over it!" Later he released a statement, saying, "I have lived my life very openly and have never hidden the fact that I'm gay!"
PANDA EXPRESSION
During the 2008 press tour for the animated flick Kung Fu Panda, Jack Black joked that his pregnant co-star Angelina Jolie was about to "have as many as the Brady Bunch, when you have these." Without missing a beat, the actress, 45, quipped, "Well, Jack's just confirmed [we're having twins!]" Later, the 51-year-old funnyman blamed his wife, Tanya Haden, for his slip-up: "She said like it was common knowledge, 'Angelina's having twins!' "
SPOILER ALERT
Nearly a year before the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Mark Ruffalo (a.k.a. the Hulk) gave away the ending of the much-anticipated Marvel flick. Stopping by Good Morning America with co-star Don Cheadle in 2017, the 53-year-old couldn't help himself. Warned by Cheadle not to say "too much," Ruffalo hinted, "It doesn't end well for the superheroes." Then he blurted, "Ha! Everybody dies!" Immediately seeing his blunder, he asked, "Can we rewind that part?"
OOPS, SHE SAID WHAT?
Seated next to her old Crossroads co-star on a flight in 2014, Zoë Saldana didn't think twice about sharing some good news with Britney Spears. Still, she was shocked when the singer, 39, reported to Entertainment Tonight that she was having twins. But Saldana couldn't be mad. "It never even occurred to me not to say anything because we weren't trying to hide it, we were just trying to be discreet," the actress, 42, later said about hoping to keep the details of her pregnancy private, adding, "but it was Britney, so it was OK."
