An insider tells OK! longtime bachelor Chris Evans thinks he’s finally found The One in Portuguese actress Alba Baptista.
The hunky actor, 40, whose list of famous exes includes Jessica Biel and Jenny Slate, “never gets that serious with women. But he’s been quietly dating Alba for a while,” dishes the insider, who says pals are convinced his hush-hush romance with the Warrior Nun star, 24, is the real deal.
“Ever since he met Alba, he’s laser-focused on her, and he’s stopped playing the field,” explains the insider. “Word is they’ve even gotten matching tattoos, which is not usually his style at all.”
As much of a ladies’ man as the Avengers: Endgame actor is, “he actually does see himself settling down and starting a family — it’s just a matter of finding the right person,” continues the insider.

“I want a wife, I want kids,” Evans said in 2019. “I like pretty pedestrian, domestic things.” The insider noted, "It’s still early days with Alba, but he seems convinced that she could be the woman he’s been waiting for."
As OK! previously reported, the Defending Jacob star has been looking to settle down for awhile. A close source revealed Evans “talks about settling down in the town where he grew up outside Boston."
"It’s a quiet, peaceful little place where he can kick back and spend more time with his family, including his mom, who runs a nearby youth theater where Chris got his start. And no one makes a big fuss over him, which he really appreciates," the insider revealed.
At the time, a friend dished that the actor had "been seeing someone on the East Coast for a few months," adding, "She’s not in the business and is low-key, which suits Chris just fine. He’s had it with the whole Hollywood scene.”
