Chris Rock Plants a Kiss on Hot DJ While Hard-Launching Relationship With New Woman During PDA-Packed Outing in NYC

Chris Rock is ready to love again.

The comedian, 61, debuted his relationship with Simone Henault on Tuesday, March 31, with a romantic outing at a park in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City.

The lovebirds were photographed sharing a kiss on a bench outdoors amid their afternoon stroll.

Last month, the actor and DJ were also spotted leaving restaurant Giorgio Baldi and getting into a car together in Santa Monica, Calif.

Rock was previously married to Malaak Compton-Rock from 1996 to 2016 before he was unfaithful to her. The exes share children Lola Simone, 23, and Zahra Savannah, 21.

Before Simone, Chris was romantically linked to Lake Bell.

In July 2022, a source confirmed: "It's a pretty new relationship. They are getting to know each other and seem to have fun…She is having fun dating though. Chris is currently touring and very busy too. They see each other when they have time."

It’s unclear when the alleged exes split.

During an episode of Kevin Hart's 2022 series, Hart to Heart, Chris admitted he was not eager to get married again.

"I think I'm good,” he said at the time. “At some point I'll have a woman and whatever, and hopefully she'll be with me for a while, and one day I won't be able to make it up the steps and I'll put her in my will. 'I can't get up the stairs — somebody get me my will! I gotta put Angie in my will.'"

Chris emphasized the emotional toll his divorce took on him in a May 2017 interview.

"Getting divorce, you have to f------ start over," he said, noting he “reset” his life. "You get to reset. It's not a breakdown, but something in your life broke down."

He confessed to cheating on Malaak with three women and owned up to his wrongdoings.

"Your significant other, if they really love you, has a high opinion of you. And you let them down,” he expressed.

Chris was determined not to let his frustration over the divorce affect his career.

"I asked myself, 'Do I want to be angry for a year?' It's not a cool place to be. It's not healthy,” he said.

At the time, he prayed for a more positive relationship with himself.

"I wanna find some peace, 'cause people usually find that peace in a horrible time," he explained. "Why does that have to be? Maybe I can find God without being in shambles. Maybe I can reach a higher plain spiritually without being in a near-death experience."
