Christina Haack's Exes Ant Anstead & Tarek El Moussa Are 'Family' Following On Set Argument With 'Flip Or Flop' Costar
Unlikely friends! Chistina Haack's former flame Ant Anstead has found a modern family in her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young.
The 42-year-old and the TV personality — who share son Hudson, 2 — finalized their divorce in June. Haack and El Moussa called their marriage off in 2016. The Flip or Flop costars share children Taylor, 10, and Brayden, 6.
Despite the split, Anstead still considers Taylor and Brayden to be his step-children. "I'm a big supporter of modern-day parenting," he told PEOPLE. "I'm a big supporter of modern families."
"I think it's amazing how generations evolve to fit within the current times, and right now, we live in a time where blended families are common and ultimately you have to have relationships that are healthy with all this extended family. And by default, I've inherited an extended family [in Tarek and Heather]," he explained.
"To treat them in any other way would be dishonorable," he said. "I'm really proud of how we all kind of manage that modern blend."

El Moussa and Young made headlines last month when they attended the Radford Motors gala, which Anstead was involved in. "I think it was really nice that they attended the event because ultimately that speaks volumes," he gushed.
Anstead's praise comes after the 40-year-old reportedly went on a verbal tirade against his ex-wife on set in July. The spat was said to be because he was unhappy with the way she let him know that she and the crew were ready to film again. According to TMZ, he called her a "washed-up loser," claimed he "made" her and said he enjoys watching her fail.
An insider later told PEOPLE that el Moussa is "super remorseful." "They're exes who share a history and children and a workplace but outside of coparenting, they're not friends," the source explained.
Since splitting from Haack, the Wheelers Dealers host has been linked with actress Renée Zellweger.
"Ant has restored Renée’s faith in love," an OK! insider spilled. "He makes her feel like anything is possible." According to the insider, the Bridget Jones's Diary alum is "sure that he’s the one."
Meanwhile, Haack has been dating Joshua Hall.
