Jingle Ball Crisis: Coldplay, Little Nas X Withdraw From Tour After Covid-19 Outbreak
Better safe than sorry!
Though the "Industry Baby" singer did perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, December 10, he has chosen to cancel any previously scheduled Jingle Ball appearances.
News broke early Saturday morning that the hit headliners would no longer be able to attend the highly anticipated concerts. Instead, musical powerhouses Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber will be rescheduled to play extra long sets to help fill the time.
The world famous annual tour has also featured show stopping performances by amazing artists including the Jonas Brothers, Saweetie, and AJR, with more concerts to come in Atlanta, Miami, Boston, Washington DC and Philadelphia.

This isn't the first time that the epic musical event has suffered a hit due to the ongoing pandemic. This news comes only days after Doja Cat pulled out of the rest of the tour — also due to potential COVID-19 exposure — while Dua Lipa was forced to withdraw from the show for medical reasons.
"As most of you know I'm currently suffering laryngitis and have been on vocal rest per my doctor's orders," the singer stated via Instagram on Thursday, December 9. "I was hoping for a faster recovery, but unfortunately, I'm still under the weather and unable to perform at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball."
The "New Rules" songstress continued, "I'm extremely disappointed, I was really looking forward to kicking off the holiday season performing at this year's Jingle Ball. I'm so sorry I won't be there to celebrate the season with all my fans, but I hope you enjoy the rest of the amazing lineup the show has planned for you all. Sending my love to you all!"
