Daryl Hannah has barely unpacked her bags since picking up and moving with hubby Neil Young back to his tiny Canadian hometown, but a source tells OK! that the actress is already going stir crazy.
Hannah, 60, recently relocated from Telluride, Colorado, to a lakeside cottage outside Omemee, Ontario with the folk rocker, and "finds this place so boring," confides the source.
Omemee has a population of 1,247 people. The ‘city’ is meant to be very rural, with only one major population center. Hannah is originally from Chicago. After leaving the Windy City, Hannah went straight to Los Angeles. Hannah attended USC where she studied acting and ballet. She is used to the hustle and bustle of city life and is having major issues adjusting to the slow pace.
COVID-19 surely changed the game for the couple, but now that the world is opening again, she is eager to get back to her roots. "Daryl understands Neil has a lot of fond childhood memories from Omemee, but a permanent move there would be tough," says a source.

"Neil is happy strumming his guitar and communing with nature, but Daryl is missing her restaurants, museums, and art galleries and is itching to hit some society soirées."
The star has never experienced such an isolated area. She is also a very involved political activist and can be seen frequenting protests and rallies to increase awareness of environmental issues.
Hannah was even arrested for chaining herself to a tree to prevent authorities trying to bulldoze the largest urban farm in the U.S. The Splash star, who tied the knot with the "Heart of Gold" singer, 75, in 2018 "clearly loves Neil, which is why she let him talk her into this move in the first place," the source adds.
"But this is a woman who lived the high life with JFK Jr. and traveled with the jet set back in the day. Daryl will stick it out and try to make the best of it, but you can bet she’s going be climbing the walls!"
