'Desperate Housewives' Reunion Is Like 'Herding Cats' — It Will 'Never Happen,' Dishes Insider
Talk of the town: An insider tells OK! that fans shouldn't hold their breath when it comes to the much-awaited Desperate Housewives reunion.
While the cast of the hit drama had expressed interest in a revival, things are said to be falling apart because of the cattiness among ex-co stars Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.
"When the possibility first came in 2019, there was a lot of drama and infighting," says the insider, who points out that most of the women haven't stayed in touch since the soap ended its eight-year run in 2012.
"There's no coordination or consensus between them, or even with network execs." While Huffman's role in the nationwide college admissions scandal caused an inevitable delay to the project, "even now, it's still like herding cats," scoffs the insider.

"When the 20th anniversary of the show's launch rolls around, the network might explore this again. But unless these women can get it together — and remain on their best behavior — it'll never happen."
The cast may struggle to get along with each other, but that doesn't mean that they don't still think about their characters.
In a recent social media post, Longoria paid homage to her Desperate Housewives character, Gabrielle Solis, with a few playful photos — one showed her striking a pose outdoors in a red bikini.
"She knew red was her color," the post said, referring to a line from the series. "Even #20YearsLater, she still knew red was her color," the actress captioned the picture with the popular Desperate Housewives hashtag.
It sounds like the road to a revival of the hit series won't be an easy one, but it is nice to see that beloved characters still live in the hearts and minds of the actresses that brought them to life.
