Donald Trump discussed the 'beautiful' girls he notices in the White House.

Trump started by repeating his claim that the nation’s capital was "one of the most dangerous cities in the country" before he started to take action last year.

But things took a weird turn when the grandfather of 11 shifted to an anecdote about the "beautiful" girls he notices in the White House.

"These young, beautiful girls… These young, beautiful girls... These young, beautiful girls in the White House,” Trump said repeatedly to an audience filled with mostly male police officers.

Donald Trump said the young women come in to thank him.

The President claimed that the young women often come up to him to rave over the impact he has had on law enforcement in Washington, D.C.

"You know, they come in — and I’m not supposed to say 'beautiful,' but what the h---," he continued. "These young, these gorgeous, beautiful girls… they wanna be safe. And they come in and say, 'Mr. President, may I speak to you?' Yes. 'Thank you, sir. Thank you.' I said, 'Why are you thanking me?' 'Because a year and a half ago I was afraid to leave… I was afraid to open the door to my apartment. And now I walk to the White House every morning, and I have absolutely no fear. Thank you, sir!'"

Social media users had a lot to say about the President's comments.

The moment quickly went viral online, with critics mocking the President in the comments section.

One social media user wrote that Trump had "the entire English language available" to him, "intelligent, talented, dedicated, accomplished, hardworking, professional — and your brain just keeps buffering back to: young. beautiful. girls."

"I don’t think any girls are saying thank you to him," claimed a second.

Another said, "Trump literally acknowledged that he wasn’t supposed to say' it, and then kept going."

"Sir, THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL WOMEN WORKING IN THE WHITE HOUSE, not contestants waiting for you to hand them a sash," proclaimed a fourth.

Donald Trump was in Long Island for the rally.

Trump’s strange comments came as he traveled to Long Island ahead of the November midterms to give Republicans a campaign boost.

The event doubled as a rally for Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County executive running as the GOP's candidate for New York governor, with the president using his time on stage to discuss the party's plans; however, social media was more focused on his comments about "beautiful" young women than on his pitch for Blakeman's candidacy.
