Donald Trump Slammed an Appeals Court for Blocking Construction of His Ballroom

Donald Trump's ballroom is set to cost $400 million and will be covered in gold.
Earlier this month, a federal appeals court ordered Trump's administration to cease construction of his White House ballroom for the time being.
The politician criticized the decision on his Truth Social account and claimed the project was important for national security.
"This unjust decision must be overturned by the Supreme Court in its entirety," he fumed, calling the judgement "horrendous, politically motivated, and unlawful."
New White House Ballroom Is Proposed to Be Covered in Gold

Plans to renovate the White House banquet hall were announced last year.
The verdict is "a National Security threat to our Nation in that the entire Complex is being built for the protection of our Country and, additionally, all future Presidents," he ranted on.
The new White House ballroom is proposed to cover about 90,000 square feet as it is anticipated to be coated in gold. It will feature medical amenities, as well as a bunker area.
It is expected to have a seated capacity of 650 people, which is an increase from the 200-person occupancy limit in the White House's East Room.
Trump first announced plans for the reception hall back in July 2025.
