Drew Barrymore is reportedly starting to sweat about the future of her talk show.
According to an exclusive report from KNEWZ, the 47-year-old actress is worried The Drew Barrymore Show will be next on the chopping block after multiple daytime shows were recently canceled, including The Nick Cannon Show and The Real.
"Drew is paranoid that she is going to be canceled next as she once declared this was her dream job," a source spilled to the outlet.
The insider added that producers at the show fear a decision could come "as soon as the next few weeks."
To keep her ratings steady, the 50 First Dates actress has been trying to vamp up her show as of late, and she recently told viewers she would be switching up the way she starts off the show.
Already holding true to her word, Barrymore made quite the entrance during the Thursday, March 10, episode of her show, where she got on top of her desk to greet fans, leaving many insiders to wonder whether her ratings are starting to plummet.
The first season — which premiered in 2020 — had decent ratings, growing 19% in homes and 13% among the key demographic of women aged 25-54. The show has also seen "double-digit growth on stations in the top five markets," the publication reported.
However, despite it's solid growth, the show has never had more than 500,000 average viewers per day.
