Donald was impeached for a second time last month by the House of Representatives for “inciting violence against the government of the United States,” following the deadly riots that occurred on January 6.

The House voted 232 to 197 to impeach Trump — with ten Republicans siding with Speaker Nancy Pelosi, including Liz Cheney, Jaime Herrera Beutler, John Katko, Fred Upton and more. They are also requesting that he be disqualified from ever holding office again. Lawyers for the former president are urging the Senate to dismiss the case.
