She's got his back! Eva Green is supporting her Dark Shadows costar Johnny Depp amid his bombshell $50 million defamation trial against estranged ex Amber Heard.
Depp sued the Aquaman actress after she penned a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post claiming to be a victim of domestic and sexual violence, which the Pirates of the Caribbean star believes irreparably destroyed his reputation. Heard countersued her ex for $100 million on the grounds she hadn't mentioned his name in the article.
The trial quickly became a nationwide phenomenon with fans tuning in from all over the country to watch and weigh in with their opinions.
Now, Depp's former costar has joined the masses in voicing her thoughts on the intriguing ongoing court case. Green took to her Instagram to share love and support for the embattled actor in a heartfelt message posted on Thursday, May 19.
"I have no doubt Johnny will emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world, and life will be better than it ever was for him and his family," she captioned a throwback Thursday photo of herself and Depp from when they were promoting their 2012 fantasy comedy.

Green isn't the first celebrity to pick sides in the bombshell defamation trial.
