Fetty Wap was reportedly nabbed by authorities at Newark airport on Friday, December 17. The rapper's ankle monitor alerted police to his whereabouts and when officers ran his info, they found out he had a warrant out for his arrest.
The 30-year-old was tossed into handcuffs and hauled off, reported TMZ. The specifics of the warrant are unclear, but the outlet reported it involved a public nuisance charge out of North Bergen, NJ. He will be able to make bail and be released.
The "Trap Queen" rapper has a sordid history with the law. OK! reported he was arrested on federal drug charges Thursday, October 28, at Citi Field in Queens, New York. The father-of-four was supposed to perform at the Rolling Loud Music Festival, but was apprehended by the FBI before he was able to go on. He was reportedly one of about half a dozen people charged in the case.
All 6 men — which included one New Jersey correctional officer — were charged with conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances at the arraignment. Following his arrest, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office released a slew of images taken during his drug bust, including stacks of cash, hoards of drugs and more.

At least 11 bags of money were recovered, consisting of hundred, fifty, twenty and ten dollar bills. The loot also contained at least 5 bricks labeled "AC." Authorities also snapped pics of the drug paraphernalia including metal pipes and hollow boxes. The New Jersey native was eventually released on a $500,000 bond.
All of the defendants except Fetty Wap are facing firearm charges. "As alleged, the defendants transported, distributed and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island, deliberately contributing to the opioid epidemic that has devastated our communities and taken too many lives," Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said in a statement at the time.
The rapper's arrest came months after his 4-year-old daughter, Lauren, tragically passed away from heart condition complications. Fetty Wap — who lost an eye to glaucoma as a child — also dealt with the loss of his brother after he was murdered a year ago.
