“Even her own staff had to go through management,” they added.
“People were freaking out,” they stated.

Maria Bartiromo has reportedly gone 'undercover' in recent weeks.

Maria Bartiromo's Firing From Fox Was a Long Time Coming

Fox released a terse statement on Thursday stating that Maria Bartiromo has parted ways with the network.
Fox released a short press statement on Thursday, stating, “Fox News Media Parts Ways With Maria Bartiromo.”
They added that they were grateful “for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
Bartiromo’s executive producer Patrick Ignozzi was reportedly also fired alongside with her.
Her exit from the network came in the wake of a Status report that claimed she had shared some confidential information about the network’s coverage of President Donald Trump with the White House.
According to the report, Fox “issued guidance to senior employees instructing them to steer clear of giving credence to Trump’s delusional claims” about the 2020 election fraud.

Maria Bartiromo's firing from Fox came after it was revealed that she shared confidential internal communication with the White House.
The outlet claimed that when questioned by either the president or someone from the White House about why the channel was not covering the president’s recent remarks about the situation, Bartiromo not only explained the reason but also shared the message itself.
“In doing so, Bartiromo not only effectively betrayed her employer, but also disclosed confidential company information, violating the terms of her employment agreement,” the report stated.
However, her penchant for getting tangled up in lawsuits due to providing a platform for numerous MAGA supporters to vocalize their baseless claims and affirming them herself without bothering to fact-check also might have played a role in her departure, per Mediaite.
