Phoebe Who? Lisa Kudrow Transforms For Upcoming 'Better Nate Than Ever' Film — Photos Of The 'Friends' Alum On Set In NYC
Only weeks after the highly anticipated HBO Max Friends reunion special aired starring Lisa Kudrow and her former '90s sitcom costars, the blonde babe was seen on set of the upcoming Better Nate Than Ever film in New York City.
While little has been disclosed about her upcoming project, Kudrow appeared to be in character on Tuesday, June 16. Eager viewers can anticipate that the plot of the Disney+ film will follow the popular book Better Nate Than Ever — written by Tim Federle, who is also adapting and directing the family comedy — as it is based on the novel.
The story follows 13-year-old Nate Foster from Pittsburgh who sneaks off with his friend Libby to audition for a musical in the Big Apple after not being cast in their school play.
Kudrow will reportedly be playing Nate's aunt Heidi, whom he hasn't seen in a long time. Their chance encounter turns into a rollercoaster ride for the both of them, with the duo working together to make both their dreams come true.
The actress is most likely known for playing beloved character Phoebe Buffay in Friends — which ran for ten seasons before concluding in 2004 — but she's also appeared in several other projects, including The Comeback, The Good Place, Booksmart, Scandal and more.
