Giada De Laurentiis recently reunited with ex-husband Todd Thompson over a decade after their 2014 divorce.
The former couple seemingly got together to celebrate their daughter, Jade Marie De Laurentiis Thompson, going to college.

Giada De Laurentiis said she is very 'proud' of her daughter, Jade.
The Food Network star shared photos on Instagram on Sunday, August 9, from a gathering she and her ex held before Jade left for New York University.
“Celebrating our girl yesterday before we send her off… we are sooo proud of you,” she wrote in the caption.
She also tagged her daughter and added, “It’s time to go to college! 😭❤️”
The carousel post included various shots of Giada with her daughter and her ex-husband smiling at the camera as they posed for photos on what appeared to be a balcony overlooking the beach.

The chef and her teen daughter wore flowy sundresses, while the fashion designer opted for a polo shirt and shorts.
Giada seemed appropriately joyous as she thanked the people gathered at the venue for supporting her and Todd all these years in raising their only child, because “she’s an awesome kid.”
She also embraced Jade and her ex, while chanting “group hug, group hug.”

Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson Divorced in 2014 After Over a Decade of Marriage
Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson married in 2003.
They reportedly met when Giada was 19 and still in college, while Thompson was 20, per Redbook. At the time, she had yet to discover her passion for culinary arts and later moved to Paris to study at Le Cordon Bleu.
They married in 2003 after dating for years, and welcomed their daughter in 2008.
In December 2014, the celebrity chef announced via a Facebook post that she and her then-husband had decided to part ways.
“After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage,” she wrote in the post.
Giada De Laurentiis said that the most important thing was their 'family's happiness' while announcing her split from Todd Thompson.
“Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family’s happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths,” she continued.
“Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything,” she added, before concluding, “We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change.”
