Greg Gutfeld Slams Hunter Biden's Confession About Burisma Board Funding Drug Addiction, Backs Donald Trump’s Claims on Biden Family Dealings

Fox News pundit Greg Gutfeld ripped Hunter Biden for being honest about how he funded his crack cocaine addiction.

In a September 1 episode of Gutfeld!, the 61-year-old MAGA pundit discussed how Biden admitted to using his energy earnings from the energy company Burisma to help support his addiction.

"Donald Trump was right," he said of the president's assessment of Hunter.

Biden recently revealed on David Manheim's "Dopey" podcast that he received residuals from sitting on the board of Ukraine-based energy company Burisma. His father, President Joe Biden, was on the board before becoming Barack Obama's Vice President, and Hunter took over the seat when Joe became VP.

"The requirement of the board would be that I would show up for four meetings a year," Hunter said. "Even when I was a crack addict and out of my mind, I could show up for four meetings a year."

Gutfeld mocked the position as a "cushy job."

"He only had to show up four times, making a million, whatever how much ... allowed him to fund his crack and h------ habit," the host snickered.

The Fox host and his guest, Erin Maguire, laughed about the clip and voiced their hope that it would drag Democrats down in future elections.

"Hunter Biden is the gift that keeps on giving," Erin laughed. "Every time Democrats think they're done with Hunter Biden and Joe Biden and Jill Biden, the egotistical Biden crime family comes out of the woodwork and decides they need to be in the middle of the news again."

She also said she hoped that Hunter would remain front page news so that Republicans could use him to boost their electoral hopes.

Hunter’s struggles with crack addiction were heavily scrutinized by right-wing media outlets throughout Joe’s presidency.

Hunter was mired in scandal related to suspected compromising files on his laptop, guilty charges related to lying on a federal form when purchasing a revolver, and illegal ownership of a firearm. He also pleaded guilty to a tax evasion scheme.

While President Biden initially was not going to interfere in Hunter's legal battles, he pardoned Hunter in December of 2024, right as Donald was preparing to take office. Both Hunter and his mother explained that Joe foresaw President Trump using the Justice Department to pursue his personal vendettas and wanted to protect him from undue persecution.

Hunter has been open about recovering from his crack addiction and a host of other topics while on a bipartisan media tour that's included stops on the shows of some conservative firebrands, including Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.

Notably, both Candace and Tucker were cordial with Hunter, and seemed to express remorse about hammering him so ruthlessly when he was struggling with addiction.

Hunter's appearances have been marked by his surprising candidness about a myriad of topics, including his thoughts on Donald, Kamala Harris and his own sexuality.

In a recent podcast appearance, he raised eyebrows by joking that he was "48.5 percent g--."
