Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden, did not mince words speaking about President Donald Trump in a recent interview.

"I only believe that there are very few people in public life that I would ever categorize as being 'evil incarnate,'" the 56-year-old told content creator Matthew Cullen in a new interview. "Donald Trump is singular among them."

Hunter got on the topic of 'evil incarnate' as he spoke about the political divide in America.

During a wide-ranging interview on Matt's YouTube channel that covered the controversy surrounding Hunter's laptop and his claims that there is a large contingent of closeted g-- Republicans in government, the topic turned to Hunter's recent, surprisingly friendly interviews with right-wing media figures Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. Both were among the loudest media figures pursuing the scandal surrounding Hunter’s laptop, yet they were cordial with the president’s son — who has famously struggled with addiction — when he appeared on their shows.

Hunter said he was grateful to have spoken so honestly and candidly with his former adversaries despite their political differences.

"If I can connect with somebody who voted for Donald Trump three times and listens to Tucker Carlson, then maybe — I don't have to convince them on all of their politics — but maybe I can convince them that politics doesn't always have to be a zero-sum game, where one group is guilty of treason, and the others are saints," he said.

Hunter went on to describe a time when Americans disagreed with each other but were less radically opposed to their political opposites.

"I remember where we could have these differences and fight like h---," he said. "With George W. Bush, and what he did in Iraq, I was out there protesting with everybody else. But it didn't mean that I thought he was evil incarnate. And I think that's the way we talk about each other now."

He then said that there were very few people he would call "evil incarnate," and named President Trump as the "singular" example.

"I truly believe he's a malignant narcissist, a sociopath, a psychopath, or a mixture of all of those things," he said.

Hunter addressed the pardon he received from his father.

Hunter went on to explain that his father would not have pardoned him if Kamala Harris won the presidency in 2024.

"When Donald Trump appointed Matt Gaetz — Matt Gaetz! — to be his attorney general, [my father] realized that [Trump] was not serious in any way about governing and that he was only in search of retribution and revenge," Hunter said.

Joe pardoned Hunter in December 2024, a month after the election, for any crimes he may have committed between 2014 and 2024. These included tax evasion and gun possession charges.

Hunter's stepmother, Jill Biden, previously claimed in her book and in interviews that the decision was made to spare what she viewed as the incoming Trump Justice Department's retribution campaign, which ultimately came to fruition when Donald openly directed Attorney General Pam Bondi — who was appointed after Matt withdrew his nomination due to scandal — to pursue the president's foes, including former FBI Director James Comey and New York State AG Letitia James.

Hunter has given multiple interviews in recent weeks as he's discussed a wide range of topics concerning the Trump administration, Washington D.C., and the state of the 2028 presidential race. He has repeatedly hammered Donald, claimed that a significant portion of Republican politicians are closeted homosexuals after the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, and given a tempered opinion on his father's vice president.

Notably, he drew attention for claiming that he was around "48.5 percent g--" in a recent interview. Hunter has been married twice and is currently married to Melissa Cohen.
