On Saturday, May 8, the musical power couple, who married last summer, stepped out for quality time with Stefani's parents while visiting her home turf in Orange County, Calif.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the "No Doubt" vocalist, 52, stunned in a refined black skirt with a white ruffled shirt and stylish knee-high stiletto boots. Her country crooner husband, 45, kept it casual in blue denim jeans with a charcoal button-down shirt and his signature brown cowboy boots.
Stefani and Shelton stayed close during the family outing after sources exclusively told OK! The Voice judges are currently going through a bit of a rough patch in their marriage.
“They’ve always tried hard to please each other, especially Blake, because Gwen’s happiest when she gets her way,” the insider revealed. “But he’s been asserting himself more since they got married, and it hasn’t been sitting well with Gwen.”

The Hollywood pair has been finishing renovations on their new Oklahoma dream home, but the process has not been smooth sailing to say the least. The source explained the project has turned into “a total nightmare because they argue over every little thing, from bathroom tiles to kitchen cabinet handles.”
Stefani has also been telling people behind Shelton's back about his “tacky taste” in home decor, claimed the source.

“It bugs Blake when Gwen decides what they’re going to have for dinner without asking him because she’s mostly vegetarian and he likes his meat and potatoes,” a source close to the couple added of their never-ending marital issues.
“Gwen also gets on his case about leaving his stuff around the house,” the insider spilled. “They even bicker over toothpaste because Blake never squeezes from the bottom!”
The blonde beauty and the "God's Country" singer began dating in 2015 after starring on the hit NBC competition show together. The duo tied the knot in July 2021 at Shelton's private chapel on his property in Oklahoma.
