Harry Styles appeared to refer to ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's recent wedding during his Madison Square Garden concert, making a playful reference to the venue's newest claim to fame.
"New York City — The Big Apple! The city that never sleeps," Styles told the crowd during his August 29 show.
"Madison Square Garden… home of the world champion New York Knicks. And they also do weddings!" added the former One Direction member.
Styles' Wedding Quip Came Weeks After Swift's Ceremony
Styles appeared to make reference to Swift and Kelce's recent wedding.
The joke came less than two months after Swift married Travis Kelce at the same Manhattan arena.
Styles did not mention either newlywed by name, but his remark drew an immediate reaction from the crowd and fans online.
One person wrote, "Harry, U were invited to the wedding !!!" while another said, "Lmao Harry. He's funny."
A third added, "WE NEVA GO OUT OF STYLE."
His 30-show Madison Square Garden residency began just days earlier.
Swift and Kelce Made the Massive Venue Remarkably Intimate

Despite the grandeur of Madison Square Garden, Swift and Kelce kept their wedding remarkably intimate, celebrating with family and close friends rather than turning the massive venue into a traditional celebrity spectacle.
The couple kept much of the celebration away from public view, while the star-studded guest list included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, according to Good Morning America.
Styles himself was invited but could not attend because his touring schedule had him performing in London. His fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, however, was among the guests that made it to the July 3 nuptials.
