Hayden Panettiere’s final years were marked by her public struggles with addiction, and now sources are sharing new claims about an alleged incident during one of her trips to Nashville.

Hayden Panettiere was reportedly in Nashville for a short trip connected to promotion for her memoir, ‘This Is Me: A Reckoning.’
According to a source who recently spoke with an outlet, the actress reportedly attempted to have “whippets and booze” delivered to her hotel while she was in Nashville promoting her memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning. The alleged order also included industrial-grade nitrous oxide.
Hotel Staff Allegedly Stopped the Delivery

A source claimed Hayden Panettiere attempted to have alcohol and nitrous oxide products delivered to her hotel.
According to the insider, hotel security allegedly “stopped a [delivery service] order to her hotel room, which was several industrial-grade nitrous oxide cans that she was planning on huffing.”
Another source backed up the claim, saying, “She had alcohol and whippits delivered. They wouldn’t allow it up to her room.”
The first source claimed the Nashville star was only “there for a day” and “wasn’t happy” after the delivery was reportedly refused.
However, Panettiere’s representative and friend, Kasey Kitchen, strongly denied the account and called the claims “false.”
“She was in Nashville for a short amount of time and slept for most of it. She also had private security with her,” Kitchen said.
Kitchen was reportedly more than just Panettiere’s publicist.
“[Kitchen] was someone Hayden could trust,” the source said.

The claims about the Nashville trip appear to contrast with the outlook Panettiere presented during a pre-taped interview with The Tamron Hall Show, which aired shortly before the reported visit.
Sources familiar with her conversation with Hall said Panettiere was looking ahead and hoping to make major positive changes in her life.
“It seemed that she really felt wronged by so many people, and — with that — she was focused on resetting her life,” the insider said.
During the interview, Panettiere also spoke candidly about her history with addiction. She recalled being given “happy pills” by an adult for the first time when she was 16, shortly before she was scheduled to walk a red carpet.
The Heroes star also discussed what ultimately led her to seek treatment in 2020.
Panettiere Opened Up About Her Addiction

Hayden Panettiere previously spoke openly about her addiction struggles and recalled a doctor warning.
Panettiere recalled a frightening warning she received from a doctor after her health had deteriorated.
“When I got to the point of looking in the mirror and seeing my eyes had turned yellow, and that I didn’t recognize my body anymore, and I went into that doctor’s office and got a blood test, and he told me, ‘If you don’t stop, you’re going to be looking at a liver transplant,’” Panettiere explained.
Hall then pointed out how serious the warning was for someone so young.
“So, you’re 30 years old, and the doctor’s telling you, ‘You’re 30 years old, Hayden. You will not live to see 35,'” she stated.
Panettiere said the warning became a turning point for her, especially because she was thinking about her daughter, Kaya.
“Yeah, [the doctor said], ‘If you do not stop immediately.’ And, I was like, ‘I can’t do that to me,’ and if I can’t do it for myself, I’m going to do it for my child," she added.
Panettiere’s Death Remains Under Investigation
Panettiere died in South Carolina on August 16 after police responded to a call about an unresponsive woman. Dispatch audio reportedly referenced “cardiac arrest” and an “overdose.”
The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.
Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring later discussed a possible concern about combinations of pills.
"What I worry about with this is that she could have been on a cocktail of medications that have killed multiple celebrities," the expert told Katie Pavlich Tonight.
Witt-Doerring was referring to what he described as a combination of Klonopin and opiates.
"What most people don’t know is that those two drugs together are the celebrity killer, because when you take them at the same time, they cause respiratory depression," Witt-Doerring added. "While they’re sleeping, they stop breathing and die. This is the same combination of drugs that was found with Matthew Perry."
At this time, those comments do not establish the cause of Panettiere’s death. Her passing remains the subject of an active investigation, and official findings will be needed to determine what happened.
