Heather Rae Young & Tarek El Moussa 'Completely' Changed Their Wedding Plans, Sent Out New Save The Dates That Read 'Just Kidding'
Heather Rae Young is almost ready to walk down the aisle after she and fiancé Tarek El Moussa completely changed their original wedding plans.
On Monday night, August 9, the Selling Sunset star opened up about the behind-the-scenes of the couple's wedding process, revealing they decided to go in a different direction for their upcoming nuptials.
Alongside a black-and-white selfie of the good-looking couple, Young told her 1.7 million Instagram followers that she'd "spent the whole day wedding planning and it just made me so excited for our special day 🥰🤍."
The blonde babe revealed the two had a plan set in place, but decided to "completely change everything" after they already "hired a wedding planner" and "sent out [their] save the dates."
When her reality star beau saw how "stressed" she was with the preparations, she and Moussa decided to switch gears. Young and the 39-year-old Flip or Flop star hired a new wedding planner, "changed the wedding location, and sent out new save the dates that said 'just kidding' on them," she continued.
Young insisted the couple made the right call, explaining: "I’m a biggg believer that everything works out the way it should and after seeing so much of our vision come together today we couldn’t be happier. 🥰 ."

The soon-to-be newlywed detailed the lovebirds' hopes for their monumental day. "Tarek and I are the kind of people who want a big celebration with our closest friends and family," Young shared, while noting they don't want to lose focus on what the day is about. "But we also want it to feel really intimate and be about our love and our marriage."
"This is a big day for us and for our family and we don’t take that lightly," Young stated, before gushing over how well she and Moussa have been working together. "All I can say is that I’m so lucky to have someone who’s on the same page as me and I think we’re both just ready for the day to finally come 🤗🤍."
Moussa lovingly commented on her post, writing: "My everything ❤️❤️❤️."
The 33-year-old and Moussa began dating in July 2019, and the father-of-two — who shares daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, with ex-wife and Flip or Flop costar Christina Haack — proposed the following summer.
Young and Moussa have since been very open about their love on social media, often praising one another and sharing loved-up snaps with Moussa's children, as Young proudly calls herself the kiddos' "bonus mom."
Meanwhile, Young has also been teasing her followers with details of their wedding day, sharing earlier this month that she and Moussa are getting married "so soon." However, she didn't reveal their exact wedding date, only disclosing that she'll be wearing a traditional white dress and that the couple won't be having a destination wedding.
