"While we are excited to have another daughter to love, we are more excited to see the bond she and Helen will have. They're already so in love with each other!" they gushed.
The couple announced that they were expecting in April, and said they learned the good news in September whole they were filming both Home Town and Home Town Takeover.
"This baby is a miracle," an insider previously told OK! as Erin had been told a few years ago that she was unlikely to get pregnant due to a past health issue. "When their first daughter arrived, they were overjoyed — and they never imagined that they'd be blessed with a second!"
"Erin's always wished that Helen would have a sister [to grow up with]," the insider added, "so they're thrilled it's another girl."
"They have no doubt she'll be wonderful. She's very warm and empathetic toward others," they continued. "She loves to hug too, so the baby will be extremely loved."
After their newest arrival, the insider does not think Erin will take much of a break. "They're a team, and Ben plans to be there to support Erin and make sure she gets her needed rest," they explained. "But they both love what they do — so it won't be long before they're back in front of the cameras."
The pair may even decide to add one more to the family in the future. "Ben and Erin always dreamed of having a big family, and if they can, there will be more children," the insider explained. "But if it doesn't happen, then they will be quite content as a foursome."
PEOPLE was the first to report that Erin and Ben welcomed their second child.
