Though Rosie O'Donnell and other former co-hosts of The View may return to the iconic talk show as guests for the upcoming 30th season, insiders claimed it's unlikely Meghan McCain will be asked to come back.
Multiple sources said they would "be shocked" if she received an invite "given the way she treated people" while on the show from 2017 to 2021.
Meghan McCain Was the 'Biggest Pain'

A source claimed Meghan McCain treated her co-hosts and 'The View' staff poorly.
"She’s the most horrible, biggest pain in the a--," one source spilled to Page Six.
Another on-set insider claimed John McCain's daughter acted out behind the scenes and once cursed out a staffer.
"She’s a nut bag!" they declared.
"Forget about how she treated her co-hosts. It’s less about that and more about how she treated the staff," an additional source shared. "She would even scream across the stage, ‘Do you know who I am?'"
The Author Called the Current Co-Hosts 'Undisciplined'

Meghan McCain called out 'The View' co-hosts' behavior when they interviewed J.D. Vance.
There's a good chance the mother-of-three wouldn't even accept an invitation, as she's repeatedly dissed the show since her departure.
Most recently, she ridiculed the way they interviewed J.D. Vance during his June appearance.
"My biggest takeaway from Vance on The View is honestly how s----- and undisciplined the hosts STILL ARE," she penned on X. "After all these years they still get basics facts wrong, flub easy questions and can’t get through a segment without yelling at each other."

Meghan McCain Shades Alyssa Farah Griffin

Meghan McCain doesn't believe Alyssa Farah was the right choice to replace her on the show.
The author also dissed her replacement, Alyssa Farah Griffin.
"The other thing is, when I left The View, the executive producer said, 'I want you to help me help pick your [successor],'" she spilled, as producers wanted another conservative at the table to counter liberals like Whoopi Goldberg.
Meghan said she gave them "a list of women I thought would be great" and not "fake people who once voted for President Bush in the early 2000s and now hate everything Republicans [represent]."

Meghan McCain dissed Alyssa Farah Griffin for not voting for Donald Trump in 2024 despite identifying as a Republican.
“I’m gonna say something that’s a little nasty. The person they replaced me with is a joke," she stated. "She is in no way representative of conservative women."
"It’s been a wildly disappointing experience for me to see what legacy I helped do during the four years there while my dad battled brain cancer and I had not one, but two miscarriages while I worked there," Meghan continued, going on to shade Alyssa for voting for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election despite once working in Donald Trump's administration.
"How is that representing conservatives?" she asked.
